OUR AIMS

Learning And Development

The Learning And Development of Children In Pre-School. Our aim is to ensure that every child in our setting will reach their full potential. We are committed to providing an excellent play-based educational programme through which all individual children will enjoy and achieve. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

The Welfare Of The Children

The Welfare of the Children In Our Setting. We are committed to ensuring that all children in our care are kept safe and secure. We promote good health and well being for all - ensuring that children have an understanding of healthy eating and opportunities for outside activities every day. Visit our Documents section for more information.

Activities Available For All Children

Play underpins all development and learning for young children. We provide well planned experiences based upon children's spontanious play, both indoors and outdoors.

We aim to ensure that we have a balance of child unrestricted and adult led play-based activities. Every day, children can paint, experience water and sand activities and experiment with model making.

The role play area can be developed to encourage children's interests and developing imagination. ICT equipment is always available and a good selection of programmes ensures that even the very beginners can use the computer.

A quiet book area is well stocked and gives children a developing interest in a variety of books to suit all. As equipment and toys are stored at child level, children are becoming independent - making choices and developing their own individual interests.

As part of our routine, children help prepare healthy snacks, join together for circle time and enjoy quiet moments at story and singing times.
